This virus scares the [Poor language removed] out of me Dave nobody has a clue of how much damage it is doing. It is not a case of you get it you survive or you die it's the long term stuff that we are only just scratching the surface on the expert's have no more idea than you or me.
Personally I don't think this virus is an accident I think it is man made I think it is an experiment that has gone wrong and the world is suffering the consequences
Of course I may sound like a crank but I am sitting here with my wife in hospital for the last 3 days I haven't been able to talk to her or visit her they tell me she is too tired to talk to me on her mobile and all I can do is ask them to pass my messages on.
She is on oxygen but they tell me she might be home tomorrow and I hope they are right but I don't know what to believe

First off: I'm really sorry to hear about your personal circumstances and what's happened to your wife. Hopefully she's back with you in the comfort of her own home tomorrow.

I'm not sure of the virus origins but it's certainly defied a lot of assumptions about how it'll behave. We are still in the infancy of this, though, and hopefully some form of vaccine can be made and mass produced and delivered that can put a spanner in its works.

All these other countries are also imposing fascist and silly rules on their inhabitants. If you were bright enough to understand my comment youd realise that I was referring to the timing of Johnson releasing information which is all to do with distracting and hoodwinking the people.

Keep in mind that shops will have a legal duty to provide a safe working environment for their staff, and indeed for patrons. Given the legal complications that might arise from either group getting seriously ill on their premises, I would imagine the vast majority of sensible employers would err on the side of caution when letting people back. I had to travel a bit for work last week that required prolonged mask wearing (~90 minutes at a time), and it really isn't that big an imposition if you really must go back into a physical store.

By the way, mandating the wearing of masks is also in no way an example of fascism. If you're going to prattle on about your intelligence, at least understand the words you use.
