Look ...expressing opinions is what a forum is all about, but you’re starting to cross boundaries with blaming folks who have caught the virus.
You want to extol the virtues of a healthy lifestyle, go for it; we could all do better...although I’d suggest being a bit less smug about it if you want anyone to listen.
There will be people on this forum that will have someone they care about suffer or die due to COVID — for that reason, and for decency’s sake, shaming, blaming or general derogatory comments about folks with COVID is not acceptable .

Dr Fauci must wonder what the point was in dedicating his entire life to a difficult medical trade, getting to the very top of it and then trying to help a nation during a crisis. What an ungrateful world
It's quite incredible really. I've read a bunch of research around this and other matters over the past few months, and in terms of belief, whether in things like exponential growth, the need for social distancing, or more negatively, in crackpot conspiracy theories, nearly always, conservatives get things wrong far more than liberals. It's bonkers. You can have differing political views on all manner of things, that's fine, but to be wrong about so much, so consistently, that has to be hugely worrying for anyone with America's best interests at heart. What on earth has gone wrong with the country?

Think many of Governors in America put the $ before public health, which leads to them dismissing experts advice.
Even when it goes wrong they'll try blaming it on the medical experts. Bunch of narcissist's.
Doesn't help when the president has been largely dismissive of the virus from the start and refuses to wear a mask.
Sadly I think America is going to take a big hit before the idiots ignoring the virus, refusing to wear masks and obey social distancing are forced to comply.
I do worry that the narrative to date has led many people to believe this is a one-time affair and we're on the road out of this now. I don't know, but there's a growing sign that things have gone very wrong. Read today that all immigration staff have been furloughed, so there's practically no immigration into the US as a result. No idea what Biden would be like, but it couldn't be any worse than Trump. Heck of a job whomever gets in.
