And I've shown that it could be just as equally spread in either of those locations but there is only one of them that you shower in before leaving which is a step ahead of washing your hands. Dont worry, we've got all day again for you to try to understand.

how does a shower clean your blood work??

How does a few pints? How does washing your hands?

Dare I say, the only view that makes sense if you believe gyms should be shut is Davek's strong belief that everywhere should be shut.

Jesus wept lad you keep posting the same thing again and again. You don't get hot and sweaty in a pub like you do in a gym. You don't exhale in a pub like you do in the gym. You don't share sweaty equipment in a pub like you do in the gym.

Pubs contribute around 22 billion to the UK economy, and employee around half a million people.

Gyms only contribute around 5 billion to the UK economy, and employee far less per pound contributed.

Pubs are a higher priority for reopening from an economic standpoint.

The risks in gyms are higher than pubs due to the nature of close contact and shared equipment. Pubs which observe the table service only guidelines will be safer than a gym offering shared equipment and changing facilities.

I was a regular gym-goer pre-covid, but I wouldn't consider using one for the next few months at the very least.

I understand it is more important for some than others, but in my own experience the idea of gyms as a social outlet has very much diminished in the last decade - everyone is wired up and focussed.

I joined my "current" gym only last summer, I'm an introvert but consider myself friendly and approachable but have barely exchanged two words with anyone since joining, apart from the staff at reception on the way in and out. So I can't miss that aspect. It used not be like that, you could do your workout and have a bit of a chat with the folk around you.

Lack of access of equipment I know is an issue for some but I have actually enjoyed running out in the open air again. People can improvise if they really want to.
