Problem is mate these are unprecedented times - most governments not just ours haven't handled things perfectly.
Just seems any excuse to moan at the moment.
Mate the issue started back in march with all of this.
That two weeks that people harp on about made a huge difference. The government went head first into herd immunity and then backtracked 2 weeks later, allowing the virus to spread much more than if they had locked down overnight.
Personally I have said in here before, picking either option is fine. Herd = more death in short time , faster burnout. Lockdown= less deaths but longer burn out time. The fact the government didn't have the balls to back their decision increased the death count much higher than it should have been.
I don't buy the official figure by any stretch but thousands wouldn't have died because of those two weeks. The number would have still been high sure but smaller.
Although I genuinely believe that the real figure due to covid is on average with everyone else.
