Hasnt Germany only just released theres today (or very recently?)

Add in people calling for Hancock to be sacked because he patted a bloke on the shoulder just seems people trying to attack the Govt for any reason at the moment since Cummings gate.

But we are really are at the very bad end of the scale in how we have handled it.

It isn't an excuse to moan. For me, it is a genuine concern and has been genuinely upsetting (I also know someone who died).

I knew a Johnson government would be incompetent, but I never thought it would be this incompetent. I'm genuinely surprised by it all. One gaffe after another.

Mate the issue started back in march with all of this.

That two weeks that people harp on about made a huge difference. The government went head first into herd immunity and then backtracked 2 weeks later, allowing the virus to spread much more than if they had locked down overnight.

Personally I have said in here before, picking either option is fine. Herd = more death in short time , faster burnout. Lockdown= less deaths but longer burn out time. The fact the government didn't have the balls to back their decision increased the death count much higher than it should have been.

I don't buy the official figure by any stretch but thousands wouldn't have died because of those two weeks. The number would have still been high sure but smaller.

Although I genuinely believe that the real figure due to covid is on average with everyone else.

My missus antibody tests have come back negative.

She’s gutted, as she was convinced she’d had it in mid March - cough, weird sense of taste and bad headaches.

Let me guess ...

She started off with headaches, but you still tried it on
She complained of a weird taste, but you still tried it on.
She then started coughing, and mentioned COVID, and you beat a hasty retreat.

She’s gutted, as she was convinced she’d had it in mid March - cough, weird sense of taste and bad headaches.

That’s just from having you in the house more often.
