Can I get your opinions: I haven't had any curtains in me room for 6 months and it's starting to get to me now with the mornings getting lighter early. I'm gonna order some but will probably need to get a handyman to install them. Would you rather risk having a handyman over who might have covid, potentially shedding his virus all over your room, or just go through the summer sleep-deprived? I'm a mess already and it's only June lol
Are you really saying that you can't drill a few holes in a wall?

Whether you can or not, make sure that the curtain length is longer than the actual window.

Get the man in. Over in Germany its possibly a 20000-1 chance he has it and you can socially distance then wipe down after him. You're taking a bigger risk going for a pint or having your hair cut.

You may of course be a total exhibitionist in which case leave the curtains off and remember to switch the lights on

I’d not looked at these for a while. We were 4th the last time I checked at around 472.

It does seem our deaths per capita are rising at a higher rate than everyone else.
This chart just shows that the US death rate number is big and scary because we have over 250 Million more people than any other country.

Err....

As long as the u turns they are making are the correct decisions I don't care how many they make

It's the bad choices they don't u turn I'm more concerned about
With this particular thing it was a ridiculously poor, self serving and aggrandising decision in the first place. It was clearly a bad choice and the only real reason for the u turn was because they couldn’t deliver, not because they realised it was the wrong choice.

It was arrogance and nepotism in the first place so they aren’t being congratulated for capitulating.

 I really am rather useless at practical things. Maybe this is a good chance to learn though. I might try doing it myself. The windows are annoyingly high up though, they're 1m off the ground and then 2.5m tall, so I would need to purchase a 3-4m ladder.

In your opinion of course.

I happen to believe a centralised system would give them more control of the data and that would be a good thing.
