Of course, had he been at all on top of his actual job, he might have been aware that this very issue was discussed sufficiently that a paper was produced a whole month ago - https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-8888/

I mean it's not like the Commons Library exists for the express purpose of ensuring MPs are informed on stuff.

I refer you to his previous answer about science:
