When Cummings went home to his sick wife, he should have stayed there and informed people at Number 10 that his wife may have covid. But he went back potentially infecting others. No wonder Whitehall is an epicentre for the virus, when people like Cummings don't use the advice/rules about self isolating, if someone is suspected of having the virus.

Then why didn’t he just stay in Durham and work remotely like thousands of others. Then two of the trips that broke the rules, including one with possibly impaired eyesight, would not have happened.
