No. What happened in thousands of families was that the parents obeyed the rules and the entire household stayed in lockdown and muddled through. But not Dom, he somehow anticipated they’d both be incapacitated (which they weren’t) and took it upon himself to drive the length of the country to isolate where he chose to, and not at his home, and therefore broke the rules laid out.
 
Johnson hated having to impose the lockdown and for that I have sympathy as I wasnt totally in agreement with it myself. But he bit the bullet and did it. Since then hes been hospitalised with the thing, stood by as 60,000 died, fired people who broke the lockdown and now comes out to defend the guy who invented then broke that lockdown cos it was just a vague idea for the riff raff to follow. Four and a half more years of this moron ahead of us.

Ok, so the family provided no parenting support, but were there just in case something happened, in which case there's no practical difference between them and the family they already had in London.
