I bet they all feel a bit silly now......
To be fair, people have had their senses dulled by furloughing so they're practically defenseless now to a nasty virus.

It is if you see it in isolation. The feller is chasing me all over the forum looking for a commendation and implying I have no comprehension of the sacrifices being made. I do. I REALLY do, and it's close to home. I dont need someone to spell it out to me, especially when my overall point is to criticise those heaping very sick people onto them in the first place.Too far Dave
And so will a lot of working class.
Working class does not = construction worker. It doesn't even = 'low skilled' (for lack of a better term!) jobs.
I'm working class. I can - when I do work - work from home.
My friends are all working class. Pretty much all of them - that haven't been furloughed - are working from home.
The project manager at the company where I used to work is definitely middle class. I know that he will have been on-site and has been for the last two weeks because that's when they went back to work (albeit following social distancing rules).
Yeah. And then the facts came down like a ton of bricks so I changed my view. That's how rationality works.

Suppose pen pushing might be accurate but it's bit less offensive than giving loved ones advice that could kill them and others. But I imagine, bring rationale people and frontline health workers, they will have followed advice from pen pushers like me who keep them and the public safe.Yeah. You've never heard of Andy Burnham?
Really?
And @peteblue who professes to know the in's and outs of UK and EU political institutions didn't know who he is either?
Even if you didn't know UK politics, as an Everton fan you should probably know who the guy is...
Imagine trusting Everton to make you something to potentially save your life ?Imagine openly admitting to supporting Everton though.
