How vague was that? Opening up the opportunity of a second wave. So can you go out anywhere except the places that are shut? People will interpret this statement differently and that's exactly what they want.

The press would have been briefed and during the evening and in the morning the machine will kick in.
Questions in parliament tomorrow and the daily briefing tomorrow night will try and tidy things up.

He gave a rough timeline of whats to come providing the R level stays below 1:

June - work
July - social stuff like pubs and restaurants

The only thing I would have liked to have been expanded on was who is allowed to work now like did he mean just construction workers or all tradesmen / self employed.

I assume more will come out over the coming days.

People will and would have moaned regardless of what he had said its the social media age.

In simplistic terms, from what I could piece together from Captain Dumbass’ ramblings

Stage 1 - more freedom to exercise, sporting activities within own households, people in outside work can return, travel to work by alt means where possible

Stage 2 - Reception-Year 2 and Year 6 kids back at school after May half term, re-opening of shops with maintenance of social distancing from June 1st in stages over that month

Stage 3 - Lesuire and hospitality re opens
