I would trust them if I were you.

Sadly that’s not practical due to lack of resources following (you guessed it) government cuts. I know last weekend there were two officers covering an area from Barmouth to Caernarfon.... and all surrounding rural areas.Just lob a police car on the bridge? Permanent resident IN. Anyone else, (deliveries etc etc not with standing), GO HOME. Done that in Cornwall.
Nowhere near capacity by all accounts so very disgusting that people were left to die in community care settings.

GPs advised to warn about 'difficult decisions' around hospital admissions
Hundreds of practices in North West London have been advised to tell the relatives of care home patients who lack capacity that 'difficult decisions' will need to be made around admitting these patients to hospital.www.pulsetoday.co.uk

Worst country at handling this pandemic in Europe nailed on, one of the leading medical countries in the world.
Is that acceptable?
Again mate there just aren’t the resources. Logistically it would also be a nightmare as the hospital lies just 5 mins on the mainland. Hundreds of staff travel from here every day over both bridges just to get to work. You wouldn’t be able to stop every car as it would be impractical do we’re limited to random stops in known visitor hit spots. Also the police have no powers to remove holiday home owners once they are in the houses. Why does that famous scene from Blazing Saddles spring into my mind! The one where they put a toll gate up to stop the posse when they could easily just ride round it!
But havnt you got them community coppers, or even the highways agency?
Look at how socially responsible I am. We all should be wearing them.
I'm saying it now, at the end of play we will have the largest death toll in Europe from this pandemic, and they've only been taking into account deaths in the community to add to the daily total for three days, how many have died that have not been counted in Care Homes?, 1000's that's how many.Who said that? The journo asking the question, or the medic bloke saying its foolish to compare?
