Place your ire towards the experts though to be honest mate. It was Jenny Harries who decided Cheltenham was a boss idea and there was no risk at all, because "science said so".
The medical experts the government have reiled on are political appointments.

All roads lead back to the subhuman in No.10.

Daft as brushes...but told to do that by a Prime Minister.

There's no way I could find the words to tell you how much I hate that vermin. He's subhuman as far as I'm concerned.

You have mentioned it once or twice to be fair.

But as the map you posted a while ago showed, this thing is very localised. The infections around Chester and Wrexham make no rational sense. Nor the group above The Wash. London has the most numbers, no surprise, but even there, it was North and West London mainly.

Its weird.

Not sticking up for him, but he told them on Monday the 16th to stay away from pubs and bars four days before 'Nobhead Friday'.
His biggest mistake was not locking down a week early.

I dont know how those are explained. Unless they had a lot of returnees from holidaying in Italy.

Nor me. I guess that in the early days of this, someone, or a family, got it like you say from abroad, and it knackered the area before the lock down, which is now working.

You mentioned the Cheltenham festival. My sister lives there, and was pissed right off that it went ahead, but so far, there hasnt been a statistical spike there. Even though my Niece had it.

Mt Sister in Law, (senior kids doctor at Alder Hay), has been on standby for a few weeks now cos of the match at Anfield. Not needed at the time of writing.

I'll put it simply so you understand what I mean, if I owed you 18k and said I've got your money mate, you come round and I give you 12k, have I given you the vast majority of the money I owe you?, if I have, can I lend some cash off you please mate.

I don't class 2/3rds as a vast majority.

It was just a turn of phrase mate, bloody hell.

How many people from the town actually worked their though? Obviously the bulk of race goers would be from elsewhere around the country/Ireland.

The only thing with the whole 'it came from a bat' theory - which I do believe is correct - is that the bat species they are suggesting this came from does not actually colonise within 100 miles of Wuhan. At all. Ever.

And - apparently - there has been no record of this type of bat being sold in the wet markets (but how that can be judged I don't know).

However, one of the Wuhan labs was doing research into coronaviruses and - this is according to a study by a Chinese or Hong Kong-based University, I forget the exact one - these bats were recorded to have been part of the research there.

It's probably as likely that it was an accident - i.e. someone in the lab became infected, then infected the city - as it is that it originated in the wet markets. Maybe it's even a bit of both. We'll never know for sure.

I don't believe it's a bio-weapon. But there's probably too much coincidence for it just to be from the wet markets.
