Of the 12 young players you mention, I'd be (happily) surprised if 4 of them are prem players in 5 years. Who knows though, 4 of them might be world class and there may be 4 or 5 others of prem standard. Hope so.

I think we were closer to the top 4 about a year or two ago when we had the same crop of players + arteta and pienaar but the negativity of stagnation surrounding the club has affected the entire club since with the latter having moved on. Taking over is a must to move closer to the top 4. Remember, contracts these days don't mean anything. Arteta signed a new deal but it didn't stop him from moving on and I don't expect Fellaini to stay in the summer if a bigger club comes in to get him. All this means is that his price tag will shoot up, that's about it.
