Then we will 1) lose all our best players and 2) not be able to sign anyone of comparable quality this summer.

Almost every PL club will be giving six figure salaries to their top earners from this summer onwards.

Offer the three of them new deals, if they sign great, if not we need to look at shipping them out to suit us by getting the most we can for them in transfers be that this summer or next. Think Barkley will sign anyway and would have without a takeover but no idea what the other pair are going to do.

As for the lad saying nobody over £100k well if it is true that the RS are paying Benteke £140k a week if I was Rom i'd at least want to match it and you can't argue with that. I would pay him whatever it takes to keep him and have a massive release clause for summer 2017 if we fail to reach Champions League, give him an incentive to stay and know he can get out if we don't match his aims.

Let them leave at the end of their contracts then. We shouldn't be bullied into giving out extortionate wages. Plenty of hungry players who would take less than £90k a week.

I would hope any new contracts have a relegation clause in them just in case Martinez is still here next season.
