Contemporary images that would make good statues at BMD

….those icons are forever tied to the club more than the stadiums in which they played. They should move when the club moves to its iconic new location and be celebrated by literally millions of visitors.

Dean, Ball, Kendall and Harvey will always be synonymous with Everton Football Club, those statues would look magnificent on BMD concourse.

The players will for ever be tied to the club,
but the statues by their very nature are tied to the area.
I also think, tho the dixie statue is great, it could do with being bigger/higher/more imposing.
I also dont see the harm of having 2 statues of Dean.

The statues aren't iconic, it's the players that are. Agree with those saying leave the statues where they are and get new ones in to celebrate those same players.

Every time I see that photo I remember that Southall didn't settle for second best.
Nor should Everton.

na, has to be that image.
He did what a frustrated fan would do, but he was possibly the best keeper in the world at the time.
This was born out of love for the club.
