….this is all we need, amazed they’re not sitting on the concourse. Crazy;

We can always build new ones of those, daft to remove a piece of the clubs heritage/history.

Expecting there to be a new Dixie statue at BMD before anything just keep it the same but slightly bigger and more imposing.

A statue of Southall sat down coukd be good

But seriously, this, against one of the white pillars on the south stand
edit, oops, didnt read the 2010 bit,
meh,
still this.

Proper iconic image that. Just over three years after our last title, opening day, 0-2 down at half time to a newly promoted side, for me it symbolises the start of 35 years of decline.

It’s almost as if Nev knew what was coming.

….apparently so. I think this needs a petition.
I think it's good that they're staying put.
I think the gates with the name plates are too.
These guys are tied to Goodison not BMD.
I love the idea of walking around that neighbourhood with my kid in 10 or 20 years when there's no trace of Goodison but showing him 'Boston Evertonians' on the wall and talking about the statues.
In Dublin, Shamrock Rovers used to play in Glenmalure park in Milltown. It held about 20k. Now it's housing estates with no trace of them bar a small plack. It's kinda sad.
Keep the statues where they are and add new ones at BMD.
There's no reason Dixie or the holy trinity cant be honored there too.

….those icons are forever tied to the club more than the stadiums in which they played. They should move when the club moves to its iconic new location and be celebrated by literally millions of visitors.

Dean, Ball, Kendall and Harvey will always be synonymous with Everton Football Club, those statues would look magnificent on BMD concourse.
