contacting the club directly

Just wondering is there a way on contacting the club directly by e mail re a query. Probably be Alan Nixon I would like to get in contact with.

The Club have to employ a 'Fan Liaison Officer';

What is an SLO? An SLO is a club employee responsible for building bridges between the club and its fans. SLOs might communicate fans’ opinions to a club’s board or senior staff members, and should also liaise with stewards, police and counterparts at opposition clubs.

I have absolutely no idea who Everton's one is like - which speaks volumes for whoever it is who is doing this role.

Anyone any clue?

Paula Fenwick is the Shareholder Liaison Officer apparently, but can't find info on a general fan one. Sharp used to do it; or, rather, he used to have the title but do pretty much feck all.

The position should be fan nominated/appointed.

The Club have to employ a Supporter Liaison Officer, they have no choice. I'd expect whoever it is to be regularly browsing the likes of GrandOldTeam (and posting!!!), so hopefully they'll pop along shortly and reply...

Great point that. A good (pro-active) employee in this role would be looking to engage the fanbase and bring the club closer to the fans.

Just as an FYI, I dunno what you're specifically looking for, but I chucked one off to: everton@evertonfc.com, which was then passed onto the relevant person earlier in the year.

(FWIW, my experience was exceptional, as a very pleasant person sent out a signed Moyes picture to my Gran who thought he was the bees knees.)
