Probably not alas. If he was in Liverpool between the wars and if he did develop an interest in football, as has been claimed, he almost certainly would have gone to watch Everton at that time.
The chance of this actually being true is slim to none as it stems from an account by William Patrick Hitler (his nephew) who wanted to sell a book.

The Free Masons must have some part of it as well. The Rosicrucians are sneaky too and we wouldn't want to leave the Knight's Templar out!

... theories for a laugh, and is now laughing their tit's off at how many people believe them. That's my theory!

You've essentially described 90% of flat earthers.
A lot of bored WUMs from 4chan amongst their ranks.
 
The Flat Earth conspiracy theory appears to be doing the rounds on Youtube and the like. To be honest, I do like to listen to the odd conspiracy theory and other stuff considered to be out of the norm. Usually I can find a snippet that makes me think "yep, I can see where they're coming from.. ", but the Flat Earth people leave me at a total loss.
