I'd take Holloway.
We will score one more than you would be great to watch, especially having a right good go at ot and greyskull, his interviews always raise a bemused smile too

His style didn't do Blackpool any good, they went down. And I'm sorry, but funny interviews aren't an adequate proviso for the Everton job.

Moyes doesn't lack nous, he does however lack the killer instinct.......

What does this mean?

I agree he often fails to bring on the extra £25m striker or the recently signed £15m winger when we are drawing with 10 minutes to go. But that is mainly as we don't have them in the squad.

Moyes and Holloway have managed almost the exact same amount of games.

Moyes has a win ratio of 44%, Holloway 37%

If you want about 10 points less a season than Holloway is your man.

But the games would be great entertainment tho'.
Will never know if Holloway can manage a big club with better players until he is given a chance. It's not always easy to get results for Plymouth.Blackpool etc

This makes no sense.

You are saying even though he has put a squad together that you believe to be better than Liverpool's, he should go as he lacks "nous"

I'd venture the "nous" might appear if he had an extra £100m a season to spend per year.

what has he won in his managerial career that is noteworthy?

And we are back to the logical fallacy of wanting rid of a manager who has put together a great squad.

I dont buy Moyes hasnt had money. He has. Rooney sale, lescott sale Rodwell sale. Hes broke our transfer record 3 times? Hes had alot of money. Whether it be net or not hea spent

Moyes has improved us loads, from where we were 11 years. Anyone who doesn't see that is being quite myopic. In fact, the level of consistency he has engendered in our league finishes is actually amongst the best it has ever been in our entire 135 year history, even if he hasn't won anything. He steadied a sinking ship and steered it through many rough channels of water on numerous occasions.

It's the uncertainty over his future, married with the idea that the board simply aren't helping him, and allowing the media hype to persist that I don't like.

I'd love him to stay, love him to be backed with money and by a forward thinking board, but I doubt the latter will ever happen.

Days like today make me wonder sometimes if a change might be for the better. 11 years of one person's ideology is a long time, perhaps too long. Change might be good; but there's this nagging feeling in the back of my mind that Moyes going would be a massive backwards step for this club, and potentially a devastating one.

He hasn't though has he.

He's spent about £120m over ten years, which isn't much compared to all the teams above us. Much of that has also been needed to replace players who have gone. It's not like he's been able to strengthen the squad on top of what he already has every year.

Newcastle have spent £200m in the same period.
Arsenal £250m
Aston Villa £215m

12m a year is alot!! He gets too much credit for "not spending" he has spent. Alot of money!

£12m is not a lot, at all.

Aston Villa, Newcastle, Arsenal have all spent well north of £200m in the same period.

Chelsea have probably spent well over £400m
United £400m or more probably
City easily £500m+
Liverpool £300m+

Net spend or not Moyes has had noticeably less money to spend than the teams around and above us.

What are you expecting him to have won?

Winning the Premier League? Is that realistic?

In the 10 years he has been in charge the FA cup has been won by a non top 4 side once, the year Portsmouth won. A run which only included one game against top flight opposition and lead to their bankruptcy.
