Yeah. I honestly think he'll thrive. Here he did well building teams despite the restrictions, he's now going to a club where he has nearly the best of everything. Can't be anything other than reinvigorating.

Yeah Moyes did look abit flat this season, he desire is now back and will do very well, there no question about that cos he class and is the real deal but he will have a hard time winning the league if Chelsea hire Jose cos he is better.

I hope Kenwright is charging for all the tv interviews, he could make a few quid for the new manager fund

"I don't want to let Evertonians down.." I'm sure there should be more to that sentence from Bill, maybe sky cut off "again? anymore? continually? they've had enough? Now that the shock has left the situation, that shyster will milk every opportunity to be interviewed and play his role...

In the real world, you don't burn bridges like that. That's nuts.

I know.
But as an Evertonian I am not cheering/clapping DM this weekend.
There was always going to come a point where we were left with Moyes and new owners or God forbid, a crying Bill and f all finances. Look which one has materialised.
We get the club we deserve.

What on earth is the point in having him remain as manager?

Even when these two games are over; imagine you're David Moyes.. Are you going to concentrate on your soon-to-be past? Start counting the pennies to see if you can afford one Bosman, two loans and a 'big' £3.3 million signing?

Or would you look to the future with your new club and start (mentally) spending the bottomless warchest? Start thinking about he can win that all important first title there?

David Moyes will be 100% focused on the United job from, if not now, then by full time at Stamford Bridge next week. He has to be. It'll be the biggest challenge any manager has ever faced.

(IT'S A JOKE REALLY etc etc)

Good Luck Davey, there's been a number of times I've wanted you out, especially after the wigan debacle, however it's been 10 years and you've made us a tough team to beat, taken us to europe, wembley and you leave us above Liverpool Fc for the second succesive season.

I remember Cahill, Johnson, 3 Nil, Arteta, Fiorentina, Villareal, Duncan Ferguson against Utd, "dignity",

I also remember Shrewsbury, oldham, Leeds, Wigan and all the goal scorers who stopped scoring...

Good Luck to you, hope we smash your lot home and away.

Good post mate.

If I were in charge of Everton I'd go for Martin O'Neill. But I'm not.

Cheers Gary.

Good luck to him - we move on

Been a massive Moyes fan during his time here even if i have been baffled by a few tactical/team selections/substitutions.

Built a couple of decent sides over the last 11 years who every now and then went through a period of playing some attractive stuff as well. Will always remember the march to 4th, the cup final, beating city, beating city again, beating city again etc, his hard nosed approach to outgoing transfers...rodwell/lescott especially. Unfortunately not quite good enough in the end to winn a trophy or get us into 4th.

Has gone stale in the last few years (first 6 months of last season was depressing) but he leaves us with a good first 11 if a threadbare squad overall. Am looking forward to seeing what another manager can do at the club. Suprisingly confident Kenwright will get the right person in... stay away from hughes/lennon/et al... focus more on the laudrup/pereira types...
