Got to say despite these rumours I'd be absolutely amazed by this . I'm not saying he's not a decent manager but :

trophies won = zero
Champions Lge Experience = zero

That's a truly massive appointment by united if it happened , the only reason I could see would be ferguson wanting to maintain his influence at the club but even despite that it's a huge appointment for the shareholders given his CV.
