He should walk. I'm astonished that there hasn't been at the very least an apology from the manager tonight, but then maybe I shouldn't be, as he's got a massive ego.

You know this ? I'd be surprised if any manager at the top level didn't have a high level of confidence in their own ability. In fact they really shouldn't be in the job if they haven't.

There's a ton of managers who can do better than Moyes with this current squad. You can reel them off - even the maligned Martinez would. Steve Clarke definitely would. Because Moyes is one of the worst tacticians in the Premier League. I'd go as far as saying he's actually the worst pure tactician and if need be I could bring up numerous examples to support that argument, but today should be enough to show it. Even Rodgers is the better tactician because he knows offensive football, even if it is completely skiwiff and he uses ridiculous terminology.

The issue isn't whether a manager coming in could manage the current crop of players better than Moyes - it's whether they could work in the transfer market within the limited (or non-existent) budget at Everton.

He was really reserved during his post match interview, just didn't seem too arsed that we were made a laughing stock today. Strikes me as a man who doesn't particularly care anymore. Weird.

Moyes if he stays or goes can be proud of the job he has done for us- we were on our ass being saved on last days of the season struggling season after season. He turned that around, we now compete at the top end of the table every season.


Maybe he had taken us far as he can and for us to go further without investment then a change may be needed. It's going to be a gamble because with our resources we shouldn't be where we are in the league- it's Moyes management that had got us there.


People calling him a c**t, tosser, etc etc have VERY short memories or live their football lives through football manager. We are broke, we have to replenish the squad by selling at a profit players that Moyes has bought. We are a different level to where he took over with a squad full of quality- Fellaini, Baines, Jags, Jelavic, Gibson, Mirallis are all players that he had bought.


Think he needs a bit more respect to be honest, if he goes then he does with his head held high in my opinion. People forget the level we were before he took over. I just hope we don't drop to that level after he leaves. I think we will find out next season.
