I'm not a Moyes hater, but based on this season i'm now leaning towards the it's time to go camp. I'd also rather he left before it all turns completely sour, I know in terms of success we haven't really achieved anything under him, but I would hate for him to be remembered with disdain or even hatred, he doesn't deserve that.

Im not sure if your serious there really.

Im just gonna state again, Kevin Mirallas is naturally a Striker.

And again, he's not played there for us. And what did he do when he came on? Nothing.

Yet, he's been a big threat on the wing.

I don't care if hes been a striker elsewhere, he hasnt for us. So saying it's a swap for a striker for a striker is not correct imo.

I still believe Moyes has done wonders. Given what he has spent he has done an incredible job. Might be time to rebuild though.

yes he has but hes now taken us as far as he can. he should be managing a team like wigan or villa. hes happy to not get relegated and thats it.

we should swap him for martinez as he would be more suited here. moyes wants to avoid relegation and martinez wants to win things.

Good to see you posting mate - just wish it was under better circumstances. Hope you're well!

If a player had done what Moyes had done he'd be the first to rip into him, **** off now and let us prepare for next season or sign of the piss easy contract where you get no pressure from the board for another 10 years.

God just imagine if we ended up giving him a 8 year contract like Newcastle.

Thanks Danny, yeah I wish it was happier times at Everton as well, i've said for years now 'going through years of crap will make the good times even better when they come' i'm just not sure how much longer I can wait for those good times, of course should we win the FA cup this year that will soften the blow ever so slightly!

as I've said, I have been waiting eleven years for him to go, I can't stand him as a manager (don't know him as a person). I have kept going the game and putting up with his anti football because I love Everton. This is the closest we've been to getting rid, there is light at the end of the very dark tunnel, I'm a little optimistic!. If he signs another contract it will crush me and think I will stop going to the game.

Moyes has done superbly well to build at least two very good teams with very little investment and has managed the upheaval of having our best players leave fairly frequently. Respect due for that.

However, he has failed to make the best of those teams, this season being a great example, and has never really got the team to consistently play as I expect Everton teams to, namely to have a proper go at the opposition regardless of circumstance. There's been some great performances, but there's been lots of dross.

I don't recall him getting a performance out of the team wheny it really matters, save Athletico at home and we'd already blown that one.

So, points for, points against. What I really can't stomach though, is the attitude that he seems to have over the contract. No one should put the club in that position least of all him. At the end of the day, he's improved us, but not actually won anything. With some honours to his name, I might think fair enough, but the situation as is is affecting the team and probably blowing any chance we had of achieving something this season.
