CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Come the summer Kenwright will know exactly where he stands regarding Moyes so all those issues mentioned like who gets to sell Fellaini or not, who buys what players etc will almost certainly be resolved. Say what you like about Moyes, he's been here too long not to care about how he leaves us I'm sure.
He'd want to go out with everything in order, and with the respect of his fans as well, after doing so well for so long to throw it away for a month or so would seem very illogical to me.
He's not going anyway so I'm not worried. On these forums he goes every season, along with Baines and Fellaini, i'll wait to something happens before I worry.

I'm not arsed about the rep thing on here, but I am baffled as this got me an anonymous neg rep with the message 'ha ha hard you lad'
WTF?? lol

You see I think he may well stay but only if there isn't a good enough offer .

Discussing your post when do you think he'll 'make his mind up ' ? Do you think he'll do it after the last game of the season , a few weeks after or a month ? What if Manchini or Wenger go but nobody is appointed by the time the players come back will he sign the or wait and see ? I can certainly see your point mate but hopefully you can see mine

I imagine it'll be almost immediately after the end of the season, or once its decided regarding cup and league place, he won't struggle to find employment so leaving and getting no money won't be an issue for him.
However I think he'll almost certainly be here for the last game so he can get a final farewell in the traditional 'got red hair but we don't care' way we do.
He may well of made up his mind already, however I don't think anything will be announced until a successor is lined up unless Moyes gets offered a job before hand.
Of course that's if he leaves. More likely he'll announce signing a new contract before the seasons over imo

I don't see anyway he'd leave without a job , there might be clubs that like him but clubs that want him , will pay him £60k a week and can be seen as a 'step up' he may just have to wait a whole for one of them and that's my worry.

Any club that allows a transfer fee and a squad of over 15 reasonably paid players is a step up to be fair. I don't think he needs 60k a week if the club is right either. He's earnt enough from us that the money side of things is done.
Could be wrong mind you, maybe he's entirely money motivated but I doubt it. He'd of signed already if he was.

What do you think it will take to make him stay in that regard? Ive been thinking about it and him saying he'll see where we are at the end of the season, what exactly does he mean?

Europa? Champions League? Or does he mean off field as in takeover?

I think thats just a smokescreen. He is waiting to see what other job offers he gets and will then decide whether he stays or goes.

If we're in Europe and he says he signed because he's started a new project here and thinks we're moving up then i guess he'd be ok. But if we don't qualify for Europe he'll surely look a bit of a tit if he re-signs, even more so if he says anything about being promised money to spend but doesn't get it (which is more than likely).

Mind you, Moyes has all the cards here really, ke knows he can do this and regardless of what happens the vast majority of fans would back him if he re-signs.

Only one man knows, but I would suspect that anything less than Europe and he'd consider it a big job to re-motivate and strengthen the squad sufficiently. As for the cup if anything I imagine this would be a negative in terms of us keeping him.
Imagine he finishes 7th but wins a cup.. A cracking way to sign off isn't it?
Great CV.. relegation candidates, 4th spot, 2 finals, several semis, 1 cup, complete squad transformation, virtually no money spent.
If he finishes 5th but only gets the cup final, narrowly losing, he knows he has a decent team capable of winning silverware and capable of fourth, just a tiny push on, one mistake here and there ironed out and it could be the real deal, harder to walk away when you know your squad is that close to being a top team, its going to be a frustrating time for him to leave, a lot of its and buts involved.
Bottom line though, I am sure he wants to win things and the best bet these days is through money. There may be some if he gets into Europe but it won't be much and he knows it.

If he was going to stay I reckon he would have signed a contract by now, I can't see how anything would be gained by waiting until the summer. If he was going to leave then he'd probably be saying the kinds of things that he's saying now. He certainly wouldn't say that it's his last season at this stage.

He's given his all for over 10 years without really being backed and given us some pride back. He's fulfilling his contract so we can't really have any complaints if he goes.
