CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

I argued this point the other day. I agree, if the process was handled calmly & properly (I know!) & there was a period allowing applications & public (& private) 'hats in the ring' time, then I'm convinced there'd be plenty of potential suitors for the EFC hotseat.

I'd guarantee that there'd be better quality interested than bleeding Martinez. However, I fully expect Bill to knee jerk into a panicked appointment & Martinez looks like the path of least resistance. God help us.

Then throw some names into the hat then.

There's been pages on Martinez and his pros and cons based on him being in the prem, people have seen what he offers etc.

Sadly, no one else has thrown some viable names in apart from Solskjaer which is purely based on some stats they've read online.

Anyone else out there? Because either why, if it comes down to it, I'm sure Kenwright ain't no genius employer of wonder managers we've never heard of unless he's advised (Moyes may advise on a new manager before he packs his bags), and if us fans are struggling to throw names in... Then it's gonna be enjoyable when Mark Hughes gets the job

I only watch the prem. I can throw in all sorts of names from other leagues (english or other) who loook good, but that will be based entirely on the stats I've read on line.

And unlike Kenwright, I can't ring up a guy who's watched them play every week or send a scout to watch league one or serie a.

Odds according to Skybet, Martinez is looking good compared to the ****e below him. Fcuk me, does anyone have the number for the samaritans???

There you go.

I'm sure some people will throw the odd foreign coach in no one has a clue about, who will more than likely not be interested and will be as much as a gamble as a Martinez etc

There is more chance of me getting the job than Harry Redknapp. He doesnt work without truck loads of cash, he cant.

Moyes is gone imo. To hold on this long to sign. For me shows he just wants to honour the contract and leave by mutual agreement with the chairman. No harm done sort of thing.

I want Martinez, i think he'll get the job he seems to be of the Moyes mold in terms of accepting he needs to go with what hes got.

What Moyes offers is good organisation and the ability to keep games tight.

I dont expect this from Martinez. We'll either win 4-0 or get beat 4-0.

Im sure others will. But the point being is that, it's easier to dismiss something rather than find a solution.

We aint going to get Moyes mark 2 so we can't compare with him imo.

hahahahahaha Bill must have doubled his med dosage looking at the **** list.

I see KEIOC stock rising in 2013/2014.

Don't disagree with any of that. He IS gone, which is why he is not signing a new contract, and why people shouldn't be accusing him of holding the club to ransom because he obviously can't announce it officially now. (Unless we finish 4th, which is unlikely).

Poyet, Howe, Zola, Freedman, Adkins and Mackay are the lower league managers with a buzz.

Solskjaer, Garcia Plaza, Tuchel, Ignacio Martínez, Maran, Girard and Aguirre etc would be foriegn managers with a buzz.

I've never watched any of their teams live for more than a game or two. And I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will knock half the names off that list and add another twenty to it, but the idea that it's Martinez or bust is bollocks.

I've never heard of half our players before we buy them because the best value is abroad and working out of the spotlight, surely the same principle applys for managers?

Moyes buys the players, Kenwright hires the manager. That's the difference.

Can you really imagine Kenwright going 'I've been impressed with Tuchel recently ? No, i can't either.

The next one will either be managing in England or be somebody known for managing in England.
