Tried adjusting, no joy
says no faults

some sites do load with a full page, others (like this & os) only down the middle

I see this as "down the middle" with thick blue borders on left and right. Not a prob, been like it since day one, probably just the website.

Some forums look different depending on which type of internet you are using , such as Firefox etc.
I have an inch of blue either side, and only fill the page when I zoom in. Have you auto adjusted your new monitor?
