Computer games.

Hogwarts Legacy looks like everything young me ever wanted in a Harry Potter game, mainly not having to play as Harry.

The world looks stunning and well designed. The Room of Requirement did worry me that it might be microtransaction heavy not that I spend on those but the hard sell is very irritating, if they can keep it limited to that room it should be OK.

Big update on Elden Ring this morning - a lot of little stuff fixed / balanced. Impressive engagement from Bandai tbh - that deathblight glitch was aggravating AF in pvp.
A couple of the npc storylines have been fixed - they were bugged and couldn't be completed but now should be fine - although it'll need NG+ or a different char if you're past them.
They’ve also added map markers for any NPC’s/Merchants you have met, which is very welcome!

Have you got it? I’m on Series X and want to get it but couldn’t see much difference on YouTube (though YouTube compresses videos so lowers the quality)
The graphics are awesome on the Series S, so they obviously are going to even better on the Series X! So yeah i definitely do recommend getting it. It runs on 60 frames per second as well.

Knocked over the last boss in Elden Ring last night - bit of a project tbh, but fun. A lot of progression and a great soundtrack.

62 hrs all in for someone who has played a ton of Dark Souls. Reckon it would take really quite a lot to complete the game if it's your first one - it's a monster.

Is a DLC automatic for a game of this stature? Be awesome to see. DLC usually has bosses that are even harder which doesn't seem feasible tbh.
I'm 25 hours in and haven't even attempted the first boss at the castle. Having fun exploring and hating having a job. Absolutely love this game.

I started it the other day and just started improving levels. I think I'll try to get to level 20 before any boss battles. I know from software don't do them but I would prefer a pause screen. Can be quite annoying in a busy house and makes it harder to play.

On another note just before Elden Ring came out I got to the last boss on Returnal. Exceptional game, can be a tad repetitive but when you finally beat a boss it's great.

It pauses if you go to inventory and menu explanation

I love this game and I'm someone that can't get past the first section of Dark Souls. This is hard but over levelling makes bosses easier
