It's a 2d "mertoidvania" type game that Id never usually play. But it's brilliant in the exploration and the way the world is interwoven. it's very much like bloodbourne in that way. It's not just my opinion on it it has 10/10s and 9s all over the shop.
If your into metroidvania games give Bloodstained a go, it's boss.

I was sold on the jesus christ faced blood filled head armor. Is that that a "metroidvania" type game? If it is then when it rain it pours.

Don't want to start a new thread and was wondering if someone here can help.
Switched on a brand new Lenovo laptop before but the screen isnt showing any sign of life whatsoever. There's 2 small lights on the keyboard so it's definitely switched on. Any ideas?

finished Steamworld Dig and Shovel Knight recently. two other v good platformers
Is the power button lit up? Or any of the other LEDs if the power button doesnt have one.
Does it come on even the minute its turned on and go off or doesn't come on at all? The screen that is.
Can you hear the fan whirling or hard drive spinning as in the usual noises it makes when on.
Tilt the screen back and gently push in with your thumb on the corner and see if it flickers. If not sounds like screen is dead.
Blasphemous will be a metroidvania-esque game and will feature non-linear levels just like hollow knight. They are easily my favourite genre of games and I have to say hollow knight is definitely up there with the best. If you ever played and enjoyed Castlevania: Symphony of the night I recommend Bloodstained: ritual of the night, it's basically a SOTN clone.
