The overly excited crowds at E3 are so cringe although i do admire their ability to always be so relentlessly enthusiastic to whatever is being sold to them lol

I swear a few years back there was a scandle about Microsoft or Sony paying people to cheer at their conferences.

I’ll have to get Cyberpunk because I’m a long time Cyberpunk table-top player but feel like it might fall short of the hype.

I also remember a game called Rebel Planet. It was text based. It started with you waking up inside a space ship. There you could walk around for a few minutes before you landed.
Now,I was about 12 or 13 at the time. And I sat with my dictionary because it was impossible to get the right word for how to get out of the ship. Every time I used the wrong word I died and had to start all over again. After a full ten hour (actually true) I finally found the magic word: Disembark!!!!. I almost cried in relief. Only to find that the game was incredibly boring after that and left it after a couple more hours

lol sounds similar to a text / graphic adventure I loved way back called Valhalla......., I say loved, ....PLAYED !! I say played, typed in rude words ....it was the only thing I could get the game to react to, I seem to remember making the viking move once...it was a real highlight.
Hilarious how kids today bemoan gameplay and graphics yet my journey began with a black n white screen with two sticks anna square.

Rumours that Xbox are teasing their next generation console at their press conference today. Used to be on Xbox majority of the time over other systems but this generation has been very underwhelming IMO.

Also really tired of most of their large budget studios making sequels to the same IPs all the time, I know they are still popular, for me though fatigue set in ages ago, Halo, Forza, Gears.

I’d like them to be a bit more like Sony in the sense of having studios make quality new franchises on top of what they already have, for example Naughty Dog could of just kept making Uncharted but they didn’t , they also made The Last of Us, the Killzone series guys made Horizon Zero Dawn, it’s stuff like that irks me with Microsoft. They keep talking about feedback and listening to fans , they shouldn’t need telling for some of this stuff.

Have to say Microsoft blasted it out the park last night....incredible show, games, games games.
Also loving the xbox pass for PC...at last.
Its live now, already playing 4 games...for £1 !! (For the month) £3.99 thereafter... I am also day one grabbing the scarlet. I just cant keep affording state of the art graphics cards at over 1,000 a pop. If a console can manage 1440p @ 60 fps ...it'll do me.
