I realised something today.

It’s easier to pass a real life driving test than those old driving tests on Gran Turismo back in the day which were nigh on impossible.

Tried to play Anthem before, community isn’t exactly busy. It’s a gorgeous looking game but soulless and the mission design is downright lazy. Such a shame as BioWare were once first rate devs.

I played it for a bit. It’s definitely not as bad as people made out but there’s just as you say no soul in it at all.

It’s a shame, I played the 10 hour trial with EA Access and really enjoyed the combat, travel and the world itself was gorgeous to look at.

But there was just no substance to it.
As you say, the missions just felt like lazy radiant quests from a bog standard mmo and travelling around the hub area was excruciating.

Was hoping they’d do a ‘No Mans Sky’ turn around with it, as the core gameplay was fun if limited. Looks like they may just abandon in now though

That new COD has crossplay between Xbox, PS4 and PC... I feel bad for the console users on joypads, going to be a very unbalanced experience going up against people using mouse & keys

Been playing a tonne of total war warhammer 2 lately. Easily the most nerdy thing I like.

Game play was worse this time around some how. All the attention to detail. A difficulty setting would have even sufficed

I absolutely loved the gameplay of RDR2.

And having just gone back and started 1 again I think you’ll all be a. It shocked how bad the mechanics have aged.

It’s still boss of course but the difference is massive.

I’ve essentially been buying all the old ps3 games l used to play.

Currently playing Driver SAN Francisco. What an odd game.

Have you ever tried the introductory level of 'Driver' on the PS1?
