I want to hate on Nintendo for their crappy anti-consumer business practices over many decades, but they're just so damn good at what they do.

I am exactly the same way. Their games are too expensive, The systems are always underpowered but damn...the in house stuff is always so damn excellent..i keep buying the soddin stuff.

No they improve dramatically mate. UC1 is basically a proof of concept game that wasn't even that good on release that you can safely skip. The series starts properly with UC2.

That said, the series is overrated. Doesn't mean it's bad, far from it, but those who proclaim them as the 'best games ever'... I very much disagree.

I've played and bought plenty of games with far far less content than what Nintendo offer with their first party games to be fair.

For me, the first is a write off, the second and third are two very good titles (one of which exceptional) and the fourth is a very pretty yet generally dull mess.

Overall, very good. When I say overrated, I simply mean by those who think three of those games are legit masterpieces, which is a sizeable amount of people. They're really not though.

Every PS4 owner should have that collection though; incredible value for money overall.

Interesting posts about tjhe unchated games.i agree 2 and 3 are the better of the series while for me 1 is clunky but still a very enjoyable game.appearance wise number 4 is great but i just finished the main story as had no desire to play it again.

I backed this on Kickstarter years ago and completely forgot until I got a pleasant email recently.

It’s buggy as absolute balls, but that will probably be helped with a few patches. I’m only 5 hours or so in so still on the tutorial I think. Really enjoying it so far though. It’s got a proper old school RPG feel to it. Very immersive and a lovely atmospheric soundtrack. I think it may be a bit of a cult classic rather than an absolute smash like Witcher 3.

Definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy detailed rpgs and don’t mind a little jankiness I’d say go for it.

Yeah deffo. Can see mario kart lasting me till the next one gets an airing. Their stuff is just so playable.....more importantly fun. When I said expensive I meant in comparison to pc gaming..which it is, you do get alot of bang for your buck tho.

Building a power PC to make the most of it all though is a hole in your pocket.

Just grabbed this after watching WAB on youtube, He is a pratt at times but he has my opinion down to a tee. This is looking amazing tbh and its been a while for me to be able to want to sit down and learn game mechanics, This sure looks like its going to take a while :confused:
