Computer games.

I backed this on Kickstarter years ago and completely forgot until I got a pleasant email recently.

It’s buggy as absolute balls, but that will probably be helped with a few patches. I’m only 5 hours or so in so still on the tutorial I think. Really enjoying it so far though. It’s got a proper old school RPG feel to it. Very immersive and a lovely atmospheric soundtrack. I think it may be a bit of a cult classic rather than an absolute smash like Witcher 3.

Definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy detailed rpgs and don’t mind a little jankiness I’d say go for it.
I need something to tide me over for awhile until RDR2 comes out. Might give this a go.

Agree 100%
I'd go as far to say if you're interested in getting this, hold back a week or so til they've properly patched it.
You can only save at very rare intermittent points, which is great for forcing you to 'own' your decisions and to improvise when things don't go your way. But I have had a few bugs that have caused me to have to re-load and lose over an hours progress each time. It can be very frustrating in that regard.

Really enjoying it so far though. The whole game seems to come together once you learn to fight properly and get your own horse.

But he warned, if you are looking for a game you can just 'pick up and play' avoid this.
You need to invest serious time into this.
I've seen so many people slate this game for its slow paced start. So, yeah, it's not gonna be for everyone.

This review sums it up rather well I think:
