Computer games.

Out games library has increased hugely thanks to games with gold. Kids always looking forward to whats next. Best thing is my 6 year old demanding to play Project Cars. And play it he does!!
I reckon half my games are GWG or EA access. Played some great games I otherwisee wouldn't have through both and they only cost me about 35 quid a year for both. Cracking value for a casual gaming father like me. The last game I bought was back to the future because it was on offer for a few quid.

Having tons of fun with Nier Automata. If anyone's played Metal Gear Rising Revengence its made by the same developers with similar combat.
It's really neat in that one minute you're in a 3rd person ARPG then in the same fight it can swap to a top down shooter while you dodge bullets. A really creepy but subtle storyline and lore gives it this eerie feeling.

Highly recommend to anyone who likes fast paced games where you need to think of strategy on the fly.

As a big fan of the original I think this may be my favourite game in about 10 years.

It's weird, wonderful, creative, funny, horrifying and sexy but now wrapped up with ludicrously varied and polished gameplay, customisation options and an outstanding soundtrack. Not to mention the brilliant, layered endings (like the original).

On that note if anyone plays it remember to finish it at least 3 times. Each playthrough is only part of the puzzle, and not really like starting again at all. Plus there are tons of other easter egg endings as well, which are quite amusing.

It's just perfect. I love how it deconstructs a lot of game tropes (e.g. you can even use in game currency to buy trophies/achievements). It is a proper gamer's game and I want to kiss it passionately on the mouth.

Probably the best few months for gaming in recent memory. Horizon, Zelda and Nier may keep me busy for a good while - I only own one of them at the mo but the reviews of the other two are incredible.

So the new Zelda is good? Can I play it if I have limited gameplay, or will it not work well like that?

What's the Switch like? Worth the effort? Need to replace the Wi at some point and Mario Kart is essential. I know the Switch supports local multiplayer with multiple devices, but I assume it still supports multiplayer with 1 device, given the game is programmed for this? Not cool if we need 2 Switch systems to play 4player Mario Kart.

You'll be able to play 4 player split-screen on the telly when the Switch is docked. You can only play split-screen 2 player in handheld mode unless you sync up to 8 more Switches.

You can play Zelda in little bursts. In an hour you can mooch about and do a couple of Shrines perhaps?! It is massive tho, so it'll take you a while to complete.

Mario Kart 8 is phenomenal BTW. There's 40 tracks and the majority of them are really good fun.
