Computer games.

Yeah, but generally the whole thing is just bad. RNG all over the place. Game rolls a dice, and if it doesn't go in your favour, you're situation is irretrievable. I'm all for difficulty, but it has to be fair FFS.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Enemy Within are so superior to the sequel - it's quite astonishing how they messed it up so bad. I got it on release day for the PC; haven't been as disappointed by a game in a series I loved since Fable 3 and Dragon Age 2.

It's out on Friday for consoles, the first one was amazing, is the second one a massive downturn?

Xcom has generally been lauded as a brilliant game. The reviews I read which are unbiased give it 10/10 which is a rare thing. I would take the plunge on it tbh, my mate plays it for hours and loves it.

Everton are rated decent on this, except for Stek and Gueye, which is harsh.

Niasse, btw, is still 77 rated lol
Looks like they nailed Geri's defensive contributions this year in the pic above . . .

Ahh yes, standing 2 tiles away, with a 99% chance to hit the target, but you miss. Then the aliens land a head shot at <10% chance from across the map

Xcom 2 mate.

Being talked about very highly
It is a great game if you are a masochist and like insanely difficult games, where often the outcome is solely dependent on the RNG gods, and not because you made a bad tactical or strategic choice in the game.

I will admit, if you want to play on easy, then it is a different story, but unfortunately, there is no in between with this game.

Exactly. First game was a turn based strategy - second game is a turn based luck simulator.
Agree. When I play strategy games, I want to come up with a strategy to prevail but in XCOM (XCOM 2 particularly) making such strategies is pointless because of the dice rolls. Also the concealment system really hampers any attempt at making an ambush play because you try and surround the enemy but if you uncover a new 'pod' of enemies, they'll aggro on you too when you take the first shot and you end up flanked and will die.

XCOM 2... it's not difficult because the game is hard to beat. It's difficult because it doesn't let you beat it even if you have the ability to.

Im playing a trial version of Fifa 17 on Xbox One.They have messed up the corners and penalties bad in this years game imo.The new storyline mode though is great fun.Oh and no Dynamo Kiev in the game yet again. They don't have Feyenoords stadium in it either which is a shame because that is a great venue to play in.

I'm liking the new corners, not to keen on the pens

Erm....best not to talk about that!

I could tell it was a good game. And people kept telling me it's great after a while. But just didn't click with me at all.

Shame, I was addicted to completing the monsters contracts and still haven't completed it yet.

I was the same with the GTA, could see they were good games but couldn't get into them. At least you gave it a chance.
