Computer games.

If you're into open world, survival games relying on emergent gameplay and player interaction rather than Hollywood set pieces and narrative then it could be the game for you.

Been playing it for a while now - looking forward to the standalone coming out.

I'm currently the grizzled, vet that has a tent full of AKs and DMRs, who spends most of their time finding newbs and giving them full gear. Usually end up with an axe to the head like, but it's all fun.

By the way, Chernarus - DayZ's main map - is 225km2. Pretty damn big.

I've been wanting to play this since you first mentioned it on here, it looks sensational.

Unfortunately I've not got a PC good enough to run it and nor will I be getting one any time soon.

Damn.

That might interest some of you.
Surprised how small Oblivion is compared to the others. Absolutely loved that game.

Ohh Daggerfall. Yeah, that's a real map size.

Daggerfall used randomly generated maps though, not actual designed areas. Lot easier to make a big map that way (but theres a lot of repetitive and boring landscape).

Ah right. I thought something like that would be the case, It would take a little while to design otherwise! I don't play games like this but I was staggered by that then, I also got my maths a bit wrong and it's bigger than I worked out, it's around the same size as New Zealand FFS!

Am I the only person who finds Far Cry 3 boring as hell? I can understand why it got good reviews and all, but after every mission I get bored and switch off and don't play it for days.
