Always makes me laugh when people think cos they play games on a console they are a "gamer".
Yeah, the console version is superbad apparently, and even the devs are kinda of crap about the whole situation:
The PC game is exactly what you seem to have expected from the game you bought, to be fair.

Playing F1 2014 with the "equal cars" mod. Every car on the track has the same performance of the Mercedes and every driver is as good as Lewis Hamilton is in the game. Except for you.
