Shenmue III has hit its $2m Kickstarter target in less than 12 hours. Fair to say quite a lot of people are excited by the news it will be coming out.

Really hope they add a multiplayer for online play like they did with GTA 5... Something similar like that would be an excellent addition.
Found out yesterday that during your play through, you can build your own settlements, complete with vendors and have people living there. You'll get raiders from the outside trying to take it over every once in a while. Might seem like a change of pace and fun the first couple of times but i imagine this would be more of a nuisance and might get a bit repetitive. Although on the flip side it could suggest that the A.I is a lot more clued up which would make for a more interesting experience.

Some gameplay action scenes here. The V.A.T.S system has had an upgrade clearly and looks very smooth. I didn't watch all of the video but i've seen elsewhere that player interaction with people from the outside world has also changed; Now switches between first and third person view so you get a feel for what is around you during dialogue.
A brief look at the crafting ability below. I mentioned above that the player can now build settlements etc... Xbox One and PS4 also now have the ability to MOD like you could on the PC, which gives the console user a whole different experience they've never had before.

Jet pac and attic atac are going to look awful on a big TV. 30 odd years old now. And Knightlore, and gunfright. Still buying it.

Xbox exclusive. Will cost $30 in the US so probably £25-30 in the UK I'm guessing. Coming out on August 4th.

Actually, I might buy the XB1 just for that game. What are the consoles now, £200?
Conker is on my shopping list for N64 but that game is around £100 on its' own. A decent Battletoads copy is around £40 too, even more for pristine.
So it's a console justifier, but I detest Microsofts scummy business practice - pre-owned XB1 might be the way to go.
