Computer games.

I've just had to ramp it down again as I just had two mysterious crashes.

More testing tomorrow methinks when I get chance to look at the logs.

Ok. So I managed to get a stable overclock with max GPU temperature of 71 degrees C on my pair of Nvidia's in Witcher 3.

Maxed out at 3420 x 1920 bezel corrected.

However that is without Nvidia Hairworks on all characters (geralt only).

This is unacceptable to me so I'm thinking of sacking off these cards and getting a pair of Titans and keeping this one just for dedicated PhysX.

@RadioFriendlyUnitShifter

While I am at it might upgrade the cooling.

You're spending more time tinkering than playing, lad.

Triss is waiting :P

Sooooo.....Have had the TrackIR Pro 5 now for about a month. Used it in Elite: Dangerous, Kerbal Space Program, Flight Sim X, Race 07 and a jarg copy of Arma III (only to try out TrackIR with it).

It's bloody brilliant!!! Setup was a doddle, and using it, even the first time I used it, I was completely at ease using it, almost like was a pro with it.

(For those who don't know, it is head-tracking kit allowing freedom of looking around in 6 dimensions)

A pair of titans, really? Are you powering up a spaceship or what?

I think the Titan Z and Titan black are based on the 700 series. Titan X is on the 900 series.

I think I might get x2 GTX 980's and use one of my existing 660Ti as a physX.

However the 980Ti is due out next 28d so I might weight on that. This will beat the 700 series titans and compete well with the Titan X and £ per performance should be good.

So might wait on that.

Wouldn't it just be cheaper to go back to spying on your neighbour?
