I still can't get my head around why you feel the need to slate a console, especially as you own neither.
It is a consumer choice. Some people prefer one product, some people prefer another. It isn't like the Xbox One is a bad console that is going to eat your children when you aren't looking. No, it plays games, movies and connects online so you can do that stuff. Basically, it does what it says it can do.
Just based on the facts of the systems that are verifiable - such as console power, price, Kinect, inherent attitude to Indies, nefarious business tactics, general dislike of core gaming audience, market share, long term viability and so on.
It's my opinion as a consumer, very happy to listen to the pro argument for XBox, but to me this is like paying £1 for Asda Smartprice Baked Beans when a can of Heinz Beans is 50p right next to it. Both do the same thing, but one is cheaper and better.
I'm looking at it as a neutral who is looking at the pros and cons of both before buying - and as an unbiased neutral (an XBox 360 owner infact), I'm struggling to see a single pro for the XBox, barring perhaps a few exclusives that aren't anywhere near deal breakers.
