Oblivion is a hot stuttery mess. Hopefully they fix it soon, it shouldn't have been released. I feel like people are ploughing through it because of nostalgia.

I was excited for it as my first elder scrolls game was Skyrim and I saw the older games looked terrible.
Then I saw a video about a blooper from the original game that they left it.
I saw the video and thought it was the old
game. Then I saw a comparison video and the update looks horrid. The original may actually look better.

Honestly thought Oblivion would be eso level as that's average and looks decent enough.

The graphics are incredible, that's not a fair representation of the game to be honest. I couldn't fault how it looks, they've done a superb job there, but it just stutters so much due to UE5.

I think i read the vistas look amazing and tbh that's more important. I think what bothers me most, is that they set the eye too close together

I reckon the 5090 is overrated but if you've got it you've got it. I'm sitting on my 4060 until the next big thing happens.

As a colleague of mine once said to me:

"I have the best PC on the market with 3 4k monitors and all I play is (oldschool) RuneScape"

Honestly my 3060ti is still fine, I’ve got plenty of time to guilt the missus in to buying me an upgrade.

The biggest issue atm is the memory of them, if you've got 8gig graphics cards you'll struggle now, 16gig is almost a requirement for UE5.
