Computer games.

Not going to happen.

I disagree, it will become much more prevalent now that they all use the same architecture.

And a gaming PC with a 7850 in is still considered high end when compared to the overall PC market. The cards you are talking about which are more expensive than a PS4 are niche items.

No, a 7850 is a low-mid range card. The 660 Ti or the 7870 are solid mid-high range and the 7970-7990 and GTX670-690 are the high range. I am fully aware of the fact a single 680, 690, 7990 or Titan are more expensive than the whole PS4/Xbox. The 660 and 7870 are fairly well deployed.

You also seem to be ignoring the fact that consoles, through their low level access to hardware, allow developers to get far more from the hardware than you can on a PC with comparable hardware. Developers themselves have said as much.

No I am not.

Favourite racing games still are Micro Machines, F-Zero and the untouchable Super Mario Kart.

Crash Team Racing was and is twice the game Mario Kart is.

I'm not even being controversial saying that, it just is.

Oh, and for value for money, graphics and sheer diversity of games, PC gaming is leagues ahead of console gaming. The only thing going for the console is as a general entertainment station and convenience.

About CTR?

Four player multiplayer on the PSX, ridiculously advanced multiplayer maps, best handling ever seen in a cart game etc.

Not even my words mate, countless reviews expressing the same thing. The people who rave about Mario Kart are usually the ones who didn't play CTR. It's simply a better all round game.

I never played them at the same time for a comparo, but I have fonder memories of Mario Kart.

For me...not a hope. Really good game but nowhere near as addictive or replayable. Spent a few hours recently with my bro doing time trials on just one course on SMK trying to get the best time and then beat the ghost.

Loved CTR but it just didn't have those special two-player moments and I didn't feel the real urge to complete the whole game on one player in one sitting finishing first in each race as I did with SMK.

Theres a reason I know a load of people still regularly playing on snes.

Having said that I will see if I can get CTR on the PSN!

missed word

Boring news I know but just received my copy of call of duty: ghosts for Xbox one. Talk about teasing me.
