To this day The Division remains in my top 10 games ever, in no small part because of this. Obviously it helps that the gunplay and atmosphere of that game is amazing, but yeah, totally missed all the problems that bogged it down at launch.

If game developers were actually honest and labelled it as early access beta testing there’d be less of an issue.
 
I've been playing Cyberpunk almost non stop on pc. Getting 90-100 FPS on average, minimal bugs and I'm absolutely loving it 25-30 hours in.

I 100% knew the vocal minority would scream hate about it, and obviously there are a few issues (though frankly I couldn't care less about last gen console performance) but it's a really fun action RPG for me.

I knew I'd enjoy it though. It's basically the game I've wanted side I was 12.

It’s unacceptable and was a dirty dirty move. Bit knowing CD they will upgrade the shot out of it and will throw on some free stuff and what have you I’ll say they will spend the next few years doing things to make it up and win back a bit of thier great reputation. They were forced by shareholders, play station and x box to meet that deadline. They still should have hold firm and gave it a year. But they where under serious pressure. No excuse though it should been ready by now. But don’t think it’ll finish them

The PS4 base console market is its biggest market by an extreme amount so I wouldn’t say it’s the minority. It’s on a horrendous state on base ps4 very very bad not like a bug here and there and people are making it bigger than what it is by wallpapering the net with it. I have it on the pro and although it’s much better I noticed like 10 bugs and glitches in first 5 mins of the thing where you’d imagine they would have the starting experience polished. And I’m on pro which is not that many sold. Millions upon millions of people are on the base ps4.

Oh I'm not denying it will have issues on consoles, I'm just not bothered. It shouldn't have been released on them really, purely a money decision.

I think a lot of the texture problems are people using hdds and wondering why things aren't loading quickly. It's lightning fast on an m.2.

My main issues are not being able to alter your physical appearance and a lack of intractability in the world - arcade machines, bar games, even eating/drinking at food stands would have added a lot to making the city feel whole.

It will be interesting to see what they plan to add as their free dlc. With Witcher 3 it was mainly extra outfits and quests iirc.

They made a futuristic world, but made it so you have almost zero interaction with it.

You’d definitely expect more considering how interactive the witcher was. They have going from making a show of gta open world to making an open work sub par to gta for interaction
 
All the hate for the console versions is 100 percent justified. This is what happens when you make a game designed for a high end PC for console.

I do think it’s unfair that CD Projekt Red had to live to some unrealistic standard, but they have been acting like a scummy AAA publisher as of late. They got too big for their own good. This game should not have been released on console. It’s a joke.

Or atleast waited for a ps5 release on later date. Ps5 has the capacity to make a good game out of it.
