Computer games.

I'm really enjoying co op gaming on the PS4 at the moment. Me and my mate have been playing a fair bit of Borderlands and we were playing A Way Out tonight, which is a completely different pace of game to Borderlands where you have to work together a bit more, as opposed to just shooting stuff. Co op adds another dimension which I haven't properly experienced since the original Gears of War on the Xbox 360 years ago, besides the odd bash on the Sega Megadrive. I forgot how much I've missed it.

I've also just downloaded The Forest so looking forward to giving that a go at some point.

Played a fair bit of FF7 Remake now.

First off, it's not as good as the original. Miles off in all honesty. It lacks the atmosphere of it in a big way.

That said, it's absolutely brilliant in its' own right. They should have called it Reimagined rather than Remake, because it's so radically different in many story beats. But I'm actually delighted its' unique in its' own right because if they'd done a straight up remake it'd have failed IMO. Weirdly the combat system is nearly my favourite thing about it, despite being my biggest concern going in.

Not one of my favourite games ever as the original is, but comfortably one of my favourite PS4 games ever. Already looking forward to the next one even before finishing this - you'd have to expect it'd be more open world?

8/10 for me thus far.

I'm up to the Sector 7 / Aeris' Garden section. Really blown away with the whole package - Storytelling, music, visuals, gameplay...the set-piece fights/chase scenes are just boss.

Only downside is it's gonna end ..... Can't wait to see how they handle other locations in the game world in future installments such as Cosmo Canyon, Gelnika, Junon Harbor, Wutai, Gold Saucer etc... The airship is gonna be mega, isn't it? I like how they've subtly teased at the "bigger" world.

Hahaha mate where the pics of the girl and the dog.
