Computer games.

Played a fair bit of FF7 Remake now.

First off, it's not as good as the original. Miles off in all honesty. It lacks the atmosphere of it in a big way.

That said, it's absolutely brilliant in its' own right. They should have called it Reimagined rather than Remake, because it's so radically different in many story beats. But I'm actually delighted its' unique in its' own right because if they'd done a straight up remake it'd have failed IMO. Weirdly the combat system is nearly my favourite thing about it, despite being my biggest concern going in.

Not one of my favourite games ever as the original is, but comfortably one of my favourite PS4 games ever. Already looking forward to the next one even before finishing this - you'd have to expect it'd be more open world?

8/10 for me thus far.

Agree with you on all of that. I remember thinking the exact same thoughts as I was going through it. Though I do think the combat system could still be improved more in the 'sequels'. I'll wait 'til you finish it before giving you a full response. How far are you so far?

Sorry mate, missed this. Assuming it was for me anyway. I'd guess I'm about halfway, not gonna say a chapter though as I'd rather not know how much is left. Wanna play it completely ignorant of anything.

Agreed on the battle system, room for tweaking there. Could be a lot more tactical. I like the action/turn-based hybrid though.

I finally completed GTA San Andreas earlier this year, played in the PS2 when it first came out and couldn’t get a bloody aeroplane licence so couldn’t continue the game!!! Downloaded it on the Xbox 1 really cheap, and completed, such a good game still, I find that games you used to think were amazing back in the day aren’t that good 2nd time around but this game is still class!
Im thinking of downloading San Andreas onto my xbox 1 through the microsoft store.Iv read that there are a number of issues with the game not loading properly and crashing/freezing regularly during the game.Just wondering did you have any of those issues with it?
