Not sure it will be for me, will keep an eye on it. I got stung by Diablo III at launch with the auction house. It actually stained the game for me long term.
If it's anything like D2 it'll be GOTY for me when it releases of course.

I've actually just seen some screenshots from the streams today from some big iso-RPG fans on Discord and they're already disappointed. It seems like the character stats are dumbed down quite a bit compared to other games like Path of Exile.
That doesn't tally with what I'm actually seeing though.
Big games generally get big scores by default from those sites. I remember Dragon Age II getting 90%+ all over the place yet that game was diarrhoea. Even Metal Gear Solid 5 has a 93% average rating on Metacritic yet its nowhere near that good.

From what I read.
It's almost like a game such as the last guardian.
On the front of it , endless fetch quests and for what the plot revolves around, it's very tame to what it could have been. Not spoiling anything but there really isn't any narrative go the potential of the game world that has been created.
More of a walking / fetch quest simulator but those types do appeal to some.
