Computer games.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is mega discounted right now. I paid like £4 and got all the DLC I was missing and the pre-sequel game.
£2.73 to get all the ones I haven't got. Might have to get on that and boot it up again! :):)

Playing it right now. Be sure to get the free HD texture pack and free Commander Lilith DLC. The new textures look pretty good and makes it not look like a 7 year old game.

Just upgraded PC to Ryzen 7 2700, and Radoen Vega 56 GPU.
Can play anything at max now up to arpund 1440p.

Old system was i7 4790 and a 970, still really capable at 1080p.

The new CPU has made a big difference in football manager can add more leagues and still process the game pretty quickly

Fun looter shooter with RPG elements that can be played solo, with friends or online with up to 3 others. Loads of gear drops of various rarities and effects, skill trees and several different characters to pick.

I usually love these sort of games but found it incredibly dull after about two hours. Have tried it a few times since and still no joy.

It’s very much a mood game. I have both hated it and loved it at times. It can be slow in places and the humor isn’t really as great as people give it credit for. The AI is really dumb too (Destiny’s isn’t much better tbh).

If you can get into it, there are tons of Easter eggs and secrets which are a blast to complete with friends. And as I am a true RNG whore, I find it vastly superior to Destiny in that regard. Some of the loot is really awesome. The boss fights aren’t half bad either.

Speaking of Borderlands 2 of course

Anyone else playing Destiny 2 these days? Love the game so much. I see there's some "discussions" about the story over here. Personally I think the Forsaken story was great (and very sad). And there really is no other game where firing your gun feels as good as here. Bungie nailed it.

Oh..and the game has some awesome music.

Also recommend everyone to check out the Taken King soundtrack from Destiny 1 (especially the songs 'Regicide' and 'Last Stand')

Id go with Project Cars 2, should be able to get it quite cheap now
Had a go of Project Cars and while I liked the realism aspect it didn't completely grab me.

I remember I used to love playing Dirt 2 online but couldn't stand the tits who would clip your bumper and ruin your race. Just watched a clip of GT Sport online and saw how respectful people were to each other and I've never seen that before. Think I'll give it a go as it's only £14 at my local Argos.

Been playing Assassins Creed Odyssey (my first AC since Unity) and it is very good. The changes to the combat and the introduction of RPG elements have certainly freshened the franchise up for me. Looking forward to playing Origins after I've platinumed Odyssey.

I suppose I’m looking for a game I can pick up and play but something with a bit of depth also.

I loved the Dirt series but there’s not much actual racing as it’s mainly time trials, which is obviously expected.

I loved the old Gran Turismo games where you could take an 10 year old Prelude (don’t see many of those these days) and gradually tune it up, but what I’ve read leads me to believe the newest GT isn’t like that at all?

The GRID games were quite fun actually.

There’s a new Grid coming out soon-ish mate.
