Computer games.

Currently playing Spiderman on PS4, one of the best Spiderman games I have played and up there with the Batman Arkham series. I am 80% through the story now and done about 60% of the side missions and collectables. I think its one of the view games that I will try and get a full completion on, because I am enjoying it so much, normally I do the main story and move on to something else. I might even get the DLC for this

Feel exactly the same. I'm upto about the same as you as well. Never normally bothered after the story but I'm defo going for the platinum trophy.
Think the amount of variation is key. Different powers and constantly unlocking new moves makes the even repetitive side missions interesting.

Yeh I was thinking about it, I need to google to see if the game is compatible, I could feel myself improving all the time it’s just very fiddly.
You should be able to see in game if it is- if they have the gamepad mode in the options, so I’d check it out when you get the chance. I’m almost positive it would work, but it wouldn’t hurt to make sure as you said.

Dongle has been a lifesaver for me personally

It just seems like such a weird game to not be able to use your mouse for camera movements especially with it only being 2 years old.

You can’t get a dongle for the PC? It allows you to use Xbox controllers for most if not all multi platform games

Amazon product ASIN B00ZB7W4QU

I don't think you need a dongle anymore do you? Xbox controllers should connect without Bluetooth automatically on Windows 10 and there's free software to dl to connect it on W7. If it's wired then it's just plug and play.

PS4 controllers connect easily too and Steam has full controller support.

First one or second one?

I’ve found 2.0 to be a little more forgiving.

Ok you sound like the one in the know.

I've got a PSVR and wheel/pedal thing and want the Dirt Rally game that has PSVR support.

Which bloody one do I buy? Is it Dirt Rally standard and then I have to get the VR DLC separately? I can see there's a standalone PSVR version for £25 but that seems steep and I'm stinge like.

Err not sure, I’m on Windows 8.2, think I need a dongle or a micro USB (think my DSLR camera has one).

I think you should be OK - I'm on Windows 8.1 and my XB1 controller connected via Bluetooth first time, with no need for a dongle or anything (it just took a minute or so for device setup to do its initial thing). I was led to believe this was really only something Win 10 could do, but it's obviously not the case. Since discovering this it's been a great way to play certain PC games from the couch :)

Sorry to sound thick but how does it work exactly? Do I need to download some software on my PC to pick up the controller?
