Computer games.

How big do you reckon it will be? Skyrim, Oblivion and Battlefield take up all space.

I think the limit for XBLA games is 2GB, which isn't bad at all. The game is also only £20 I think.

I've been looking forward to this for ages. An actual zombie survival game where you have to build your own base, scavenge for food, rescue strangers etc... they've tried to make it as realistic as possible without being simulation overkill. The way they've approached it is really refreshing as they went out and gathered loads of info from fellow gamers.

My brother has put me onto the Kerbal Space Program. Bloody good stuff (if rocketry and planes are your thing)

Warning, to the instant gratification COD'ers, this one isn't for you.

Build your own rocket/spaceplane and put it in orbit. The ultimate goal is to reach the moon (or mun).

Got this the other week. It's brilliant and I love the little Kerbals.
I'd play PC but it's not as big in the competitive scene.
I play websites such as decerto.net (4v4 only) and Gamebattles (1v1 and 2v2)

Anyone else go on these sites or am I the only nerd here?

PC is massively competitive! It's ridiculous at times how seriously people take it. I used to play GB back in the day. Was in the best Demolition clan on MW2.

Yeah sorry I should of explained it tbh.
PC has pros (better graphics etc) but its so hard to use the mouse and keyboard on shooters like that.
Have you tried CounterStrike? Thats one hard game!
and haha! I was first like on all FIFA ladders. Completely lost my touch now though on FIFA. I haven't played 360 in a while, need ot get back into it. It was great

Hardcore SnD mate, we were pretty decent. Went 26 wins in a row and ended up 2nd in the league at one point.

Just a bit of FIFA for me now though really.

same mate.
FIFA's going downhill now though so I've not really played it, just go on FM13 a couple of times a week.

Mouse and keyboard is horribly stressful, I play some CoD4 PC from time to time and it's like being a new kid all over again. I've never played CounterStrike and I've always wanted to! I'm brilliantly average at Fifa.

Are you saying FPS games are easier to play on a controller? Not really sure about that mate. It basically comes down to what you're used to, but mouse/keyboard gives a much more intricate level of control in my experience.

FIFA on mouse and keyboard would be interesting - and awful - but I'd always take that option in an FPS.

I'm glad I made the switch to PC but it can be an utter ballache. Red Orchestra 2 keeps effing up which is a shame because it's a fantastic game, anyway trying to fix the problem it ****ed up so much that it reset my steam library. So I now have to redownload all my games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been playing the Swapper. It's basically a MetroidVania game except it's 100% puzzles, has a fantastic eerie sci fi vibe and everything is made out of clay! Yes, that's right, the visuals are genuinely hand-crafted.

Only 9 quid on Steam at the moment. Check it out, it's fantastic!

Might check that out, love a good puzzle game. I managed to save my steam library from needing complete re-downloading so given I no longer want to throw my PC out the window... might give it a go.
