the buzz from reading a few american forums is that this lad has more potential than peterlin.

but most agree neither will make the grade but would probably use the experience to move into eu football at a lower level eventually.
ie nothing transfers in the realm of da silva , plessis etc

He's done well at the college level in the US but that's about it - maybe some U-18 appearances for the US National Team but I couldn't find any real reference.

I am impressed that Moyes is scouting the US talent (apparently Arnoux has the same agent as Peterlin - Graham Smith) hence the connection.

A simple no-brainer really - Everton has nothing to lose on giving Peterlin and Arnoux a chance with the Reserves. They might flourish under Moyes and if they don't, sell them off to a Championship or lesser side for the cost of investment.

Attached is some video from 2007. Cody is #17.
Am new to the forum so I can't post a web link yet but if you look up Wake Forest Top Ten Goals of 2007 in youtube, there is some good video of Cody.

Perhaps he isn't the marquee player we would have liked but there must be something about him. Also, I think the basic thought pattern of The Yanks are awful at Football went south after Spain took it on the chin this year. Doubt no more my friends as the game expands so will talent stretch even further across the globe.

Wasn't there an Arnoux involved in the MLS team that we played last night? I recall seeing the name somewhere.

Anyone else think it's ironic that he's supposedly over here while the team are over in his home country?
