He adopted them when it was only the German league on telly. No idea who he supports for real.

Sadly he is a Chelsea fan. He’s a terrible commentator, always trying to insert dreadful puns into any exchange. Was married to Natalie Sawyer and somehow conspired to call his son Sawyer. Not quite on Neville brothers Daddy name but getting there.

I assumed it would be a London club, but didnt realise he was Chelsea. As an aside, the best bit about Chelsea having a bad game is the inevitable Andy Jacobs meltdown!

Spent too much of the game telling everyone which England legend he ran into in the bogs before the game instead of what was going on during the match.

Fairly fond of him though for his Motd commentary at the Kanchelskis derby.

Interestingly about 2-3 weeks ago which is the timeframe Tyldesley refers to there, he put out an article saying that all commentators needed to be re-educate due to subconscious racial bias.

Could this be related to his demotion?

I’m pretty sure he was with Radio City when we won the league in 84/5. I remember him doing the Spurs game away when we won 2-1. A massive win for us. He was very emotional.

That's pretty poor form from Tyldsley going public in this manner....and he's essentially saying his colleague doesn't deserve his spot...
Pointing out his situation isnt comparable to what others are currently going through, is where he should have stopped recording and deleted the video...
He's 65 years old ffs, of course he's being replaced by a younger voice....Brian Moore was 66 when Tyldsley replaced him..
